SerpLabSEO is the home of HighDegree* Marketing, a weekly newsletter on SEO, AI, and social media for product marketers, marketing strategists, and SEOs. I’m Nishat Shahriyar, and I write it.
Every week I read through hundreds of sources and keep the few stories that change how marketers work: search updates, AI tools and agents, platform changes, and new data. The rest stays out. Each issue is written in plain language and takes a few minutes to read.
Who writes HighDegree* Marketing
I’m a Senior Product Marketing Lead at WPManageNinja (AuthLab). I own marketing for Fluent Forms, Ninja Tables, and FluentPlayer, and I manage a five-person content team. I joined the company in April 2021 as a Digital Marketer, moved into SEO content strategy as marketing Lead, then into leading the content team, and now into marketing across three products. Day to day that means SEO, content, lifecycle email, and launches for WordPress software.
I’ve used WordPress since 2007 and I’m based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. My main site is nishat.blog. You can also find me on LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, and my WordPress.org profile.
What the newsletter covers
HighDegree* Marketing has three topics: SEO, AI, and social media. Recent issues have covered affiliate SEO, entity SEO, how ChatGPT builds its own index, Google ranking factors, LinkedIn SEO, broken sitemaps, and AI agents that failed in real use.
I work in SEO and content for WordPress software every day, so the issues draw on what I see in that work. Each issue also comes as a podcast on Spotify and on YouTube at @LearnWithNish, and I post it on Substack, Medium, and LinkedIn.
